Within a few episodes of this series, the animated thriller saga has managed to get a lot of fans out there and this brings us to today’s main discussion. But before we get to the storyline of season 1, let’s first see whether the production house has given the green light for Season 2 or not.

When will Tengoku Daimakyou Season 2 be released?

This is definitely the most asked question out there. With Episode 10 of this epic anime series just around the corner, fans can’t wait to find out more about season 2. Everyone’s eyes are glued to what’s next in the series. What awaits Tokio and Maru?

According to the latest information I have gathered, “Tengoku Daimakyou” has not been updated for season 2. The first season of the anime series has ended and aired on Tokyo MX, HTB, RKB, and BS11. So far, only a total of 13 episodes of season 1 have been listed on the web and this is the end.

Regarding the renewal of the anime series, as of now, there is no update available for Tengoku Daimakyou Season 2. But since there is still enough source material available, I personally am pretty sure that Tengoku Daimakyou will return with Season 2.

Following the series’ usual timeline, “Tengoku Daimakyou” will probably be renewed sometime in late 2023. As per my prediction, Tengoku Daimakyou Season 2 will probably launch in the late summer of 2024.

Synopsis Tengoku Daimakyou

The storyline takes place 15 years ago, Japan has been destroyed to its core. Most of the individuals of modern civilization have been wiped out and now this country has been divided into two halves, Hell and Heaven. A group of children are captured in a holy land, and all of them are meant to remain isolated from the outside world.

But everything is about to change soon, Tokio is ready to see what lies behind Heaven’s door. The main loop begins when a strange message arrives for Tokio. Looks like someone wanted to fulfill his wish a long time ago. Someone asked him if he wanted to see the outside world or not.

Nothing had ever intrigued him, but his joy was immediately crushed by the director of the land. She warned him about the outside world and told him about all the deadly creatures that were ready to prey on his body.

But then he came across Mimihime’s prediction. Deep inside, he deeply felt that two people from the outside world would pay him a visit. Surprisingly, one of the two also had a face similar to his.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, known as Hell, the land of the macabre, we will know all about Maru. A boy whose face is similar to Tokio travels with a girl named Kiruko.

How is the Storyline of Tengoku Daimakyou Season 2?

The last episode of Tengoku Daimakyou season 1 has been released, but it’s quite difficult for me to comment on what the second season’s storyline will be like. But considering the storyline of the series, I think Tokio and Maru will face the consequences of their decisions.

Their journey isn’t over yet, they must stay prepared as more challenges await them. On top of that, some surprising revelations may also occur in Season 2.
