The first season had unpredictable twists and turns with an emotional twist which was the main reason for its success. The creators of the anime said that Season 2 of the anime’s Beast Tamer will ‘Bigger and Better‘ from the first season.

This makes fans even more eager for Beast Tamer season 2. However, the release date and storyline of the second season are still unknown so far. This is because there hasn’t been a teaser or trailer released for Beast Tamer Season 2. I also can’t say it’s a canceled anime.

The Figure Behind the Beast Tamer Anime

Beast Tamer is an anime written by Takashi Aoshima and directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa. This anime itself is based on a Japanese light novel with the title “Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau” written by Suzu Miyama and illustrated by Subach.

The series belongs to the drama and fantasy genres which has a total of 13 episodes each with a runtime of 20-25 minutes. Initially this anime was released in Japanese and English on Crunchyroll’s OTT platform. The first episode of this anime was released on October 2, 2022.

What’s Beast Tamer Telling About?

In a universe of magic and fantasy, there exists a village of people with different abilities who help them fight monsters by taming animals.

Tamers are considered a weak class because the only ability they have is to tame too many animals 1 at a time. They are weak and unable to fight monsters.

The village’s protector is called the hero’s party. Rein Shroud, the main character of this anime is a beast tamer and also a member of the hero party. He is the most kind among heroes.

He and his villagers have a special ability, they can tame more than 1 animal at a time. Even though Rein has many special abilities, he is incapable of fighting monsters and still relies on his group mates.

All of the hero’s party members were rude and arrogant. They thought Rein was a burden to them and kicked him out of the party and also took all the money he had and some of the weapons he had. After being betrayed by the party members, Rein was left alone and now has to start his career from scratch alone.

Then Rein remembered that his only goal as a hero was to defeat the demon king, but now he left the hero’s party and had nothing to do with it anymore.

He then decided to choose the profession of adventurer. So he started registering himself in the adventure guild. When he meets Natalie, he explains what tasks must be completed to become an adventurer and gives him basic armor and weapons.

Then when he proceeded to complete his task he met a girl called Kanade and who belonged to the cat race. In this world, the strongest race is the Dragon fairy god and the rarest race is the cat race.

What will happen next? Will Rein avenge his betrayal? Will he become a successful adventurer? Watch the anime to find out.

Who Are the Characters in Beast Tamer?

Rein Shroud – As mentioned before Rein Shroud is the main character of this series who has the ability to tamer animals and has a special ability where he can tame multiple animals at any given time, but cannot fight monsters alone.

Kanade – A girl who belongs to one of the rarest and strongest races, namely the cat race. He doesn’t have any magic power but his body can evolve according to the sound he has superhuman power. He left his home in search of adventure until he was rescued by Rein and they became best friends.

Taina – She belongs to the Dragon Race and is capable of performing enhanced magic. He traveled the world and challenged various warriors, after being defeated by Rein and Kanade he finally joined Rein’s Party.
