Upcoming Events at GPCC

Faith on Tap – March 5th, 6pm-10pm: GPCC’s monthly discussion group for all faiths and political views.

Inspired Action Santa Cruz – March 12th, 11am-9pm: Workshops and talks to explore ways to take action in our changing times.

Project Pollinate’s 3 Year Anniversary Celebration – March 18th, 12-4pm: Celebrate Project Pollinate and GPCC’s newly installed bee hives with a day of music, food, art, and workshops.

Parenting for Justice – March 25th, 2-3:30pm: Join me (Christy Byrd) to learn about how to talk to kids about diversity and inclusion in the age of Trump.

FEASTWeekly on Thursdays, 7:30-9pm: A social justice, open and affirming group for college students that meets in the Esselen Conference Room in the Bay Tree building at UCSC.

 

This Week

Christopher will be speaking on Welcoming the Immigrant and we will have some representatives from the Sanctuary Church movement to tell us more about what it would mean to be a sanctuary church for undocumented immigrants. Remember that all donations will go to support them!

In the kids’ area, we have some new games, including Trouble, so we’ll be talking about how to help when others are in trouble.
