If Sunday was your first time with us, we especially want to say thank you for coming and we look forward to seeing you again! We want to talk with you more and hear any questions or concerns (or praise) you have. Send Christopher an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (831) 426-0510.
Save the date!
On August 28th we are building on the conversations from the Black Lives Matter Peace Vigil and Faith on Tap and leading local law enforcement agencies and social justice organizations in taking next steps for racial justice. The Peace Party will feature fun and games including a dunk tank, bounce houses, and more to raise money for a coalition-building fund. We will also have an opportunity for community members to participate in racial bias awareness training.
Here’s what’s going on at Garfield Park Community Church this week:
Christopher will be preaching on letting go of the need to be perfect
Join us for Faith on Tap from 2pm to 4pm. This is an interfaith/no-faith event for conversation and fellowship with beer (and wine, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages). Food and drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks and beverages to share if you like.
See you Sunday,
Christy and the GPCC Staff
