Peace Party Guide

Note: We will not have a normal service on Sunday. Instead, join us for a short time of prayer and worship at 10:00am. There will not be children’s service.

Here’s a guide to where all the fun will be:

  • Main lawn
    • Music by DJ SPARKLE
    • Dance floor
    • Aerial Arts performance area
    • NAACP membership drive and voter registration
    • Derby Girls “Pin the Scales on the Justice”
    • Tabling
    • Vendors
    • Bounce houses
  • Main building
    • Reflection space (in the sanctuary)
    • Escape room game (in the Kidz Korner)
    • Baby changing table (in the gym)
  • East wing
    • Bathrooms
    • Exotic petting zoo
    • Prize drawing ticket sales (the drawing will be at 2:45pm)
    • Racial bias awareness scavenger hunt home base
    • First aid station
  • Streetfront
    • Food trucks
    • Pokestop

If you need help during the event, check with a staff member or volunteer – we will be wearing nametags. Volunteers, please check in with me (Christy) at the drawing table when you arrive.

Introducing First Friday Youth Nights

Starting September 2nd, we will be hosting First Friday events for youth ages 8 to 18. Our first event will be a PokeWalk around the Circles neighborhood from 5 to 6 and board games from 6 to 9pm. Feel free to bring games and invite your young friends on Facebook!
